Ioanna Ralli is a photographer, graphic designer and illustrator. Her work assumes different forms and has been shown internationally through exhibitions and publications.

In her new work, Archetypes of the Feminine, the artist dynamically sets a stage in color for her photographs, where, one by one, friends and acquaintances take on a role and a title presenting the archetypes of the feminine. Her starting point is the research of the image of the feminine in mythology and religion, which have always been considered as mirrors of the unconscious. Her research fuels her quest which is the finding of her own images of the archetypes of the feminine.

The book published with the opportunity of Ioanna Ralli’s exhibition at Nees Morfes Gallery, as part of the Athens Photo Festival 2008.
